Fremont County Hiring Deputy SheriffJob Announcement Law Enforcement The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Sheriff. Applicants must meet the minimum hiring standards as set by the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy Council. All qualified applicants will interview with members of the Fremont County Civil Service Commission; All applicants will have to consent a background check. Fremont County offers a competitive wage and benefit package. Starting salary for a Deputy Sheriff is $30.90 an hour.
