ISSDAI Fundraising

The Iowa State Sheriffs' & Deputies' Association (ISSDA) invites you to join us as an Honorary Member of the Iowa State Sheriffs' & Deputies' Association Institute (ISSDAI). We partner with a fundraising and marketing firm for nonprofits called MOORE. We do solicit donations by direct mail. We will NEVER solicit by phone. Moore has existing relationships with 14 of the nation's Sheriffs' Associations. 

This program has been established for many years to build better bonds between concerned citizens, businesses, elected Sheriffs, and the communities they serve. A non-profit, professional law enforcement and educational organization. ISSDAI is dedicated to the preservation of peace and public safety to the people of Iowa. We actively support Iowa Special Olympics and the Des Moines YMCA Camp in Boone. We strive to foster positive relationships with our state's youth and providing the latest training and education to officers. 

ISSDAI is supported by donations and honorary memberships to maintain its programs. The Office of Sheriff is unique because it is the only elected position in law enforcement. Iowa Sheriffs are public servants committed to the people of the communities they serve. This commitment extends to statewide efforts, as part of the Insitute. 

The ISSDAI is registered with the Iowa Secretary of State and granted status under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. This may make your dues deductible for income tax purposes. Charitable donations, including membership dues, are not prorated. Membership year: January 1 - December 31. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.
